I don't know the history, I just took the photo because I liked the reflection in the water! This scale model can be found at Santamara Miniland in La Rochelle Johannesburg.

I'm impressed to lean it is a 1:25 scale model. At 1st sight, I've believed it was a normal ship, on a windy canal. Well done shot.

Great colors and the reflection is nice. Without the description I was confused about the image - the ship is too big for that canal!!

Very nice, and as noticed by others, hard to jugde the size as there is nothing in the photo that let's us get an idea of the scale,

I too believed it to be of original size at first glance. Beautiful colors and reflection. Nice find Ina. I have always enjoyed model boats and the amazing work and detail that go into them.

Very nice capture Ina. I like the reflections. On my other site "Madrsa" I have a few pictures shot at Santamara in 1977
