@Gary: Thanks Gary! @Michael Skorulski: Thanks Michael! givethemhell from GermanyWhat an intriguing photo of the moon eclipse, and Mar Twain's words are very true. Everyone has a dark side, a shadow. 24 Feb 2008 8:23am @givethemhell: Thank you my friend! I think when we can manage to lit the darkside we can taste 'freedom'! @Scotfot: Thanks! @Ana Lúcia: Thanks :) MaryB from Staffordshire, United KingdomWow! Ina, this is brilliant! very well done on getting these great shots. 24 Feb 2008 10:18am @MaryB: Thank you so much Mary! I had a good time taking them! Farhad.B from Babol, Iranwow ! very very wonderfull shot! can u teach me about this photographi please? 24 Feb 2008 10:37am @Farhad.B: Thanks Farhad. This photo is made up of 5 different photo's that I've combined into one in Photoshop. Ron from Saint Louis, United StatesBeautiful, Ina! And, just curious, what was the temperature at 3:54 a.m.? Here it occurred between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. and it was COLD. 24 Feb 2008 12:33pm @Ron: Thank you Ron! It was a lovely summer's morning, bit cloudy here and there, but overall great. I would say it was about 16 degrees C. Tanks for your interest! @Craiger: Thanks Graiger @Marta: Thanks Marta Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaOh Ina, wow, what a collection, you took that superbly well, congrats! 24 Feb 2008 3:23pm @Lorraine: Thanks Lorraine~! baobab from Cambridge, United StatesNice Ina! I especially like the way you captured the last burning edge and the redness of totality. You were up very early/late for this one. The eclipse here (cambridge massachusetts) went the opposite way, from left to right, perhaps because we're on the other side of the equator. It was well below freezing here - maybe minus 5 celsius - too cold to stand around in, so we kept going in and out. 24 Feb 2008 3:42pm @baobab: Thanks! I was up early - the weather was great! vu@granby - Wolfgang Prigge from Granby, QC, CanadaNice Ina! Here it was too cold to be outside for long, and also too many ice crystals in the air, so my attempts are not very good. 24 Feb 2008 4:06pm @vu@granby - Wolfgang Prigge: Maybe you are lucky next time! @Laurie: Thanks Laurie @Daniel: Thanks Daniel isabel from Portugalnice work. great shot! like the Twain's sentence as well ... 24 Feb 2008 5:51pm @isabel: Thanks Isabel! @Brites: Thanks Brites! Porcsin from Debrecen, HungarySuperb! 24 Feb 2008 7:03pm @Porcsin: Glad you liked it! Jasp from Plymouth, United KingdomWow!. 3.00 am in UK...so ashamed to say I was still asleep 24 Feb 2008 7:44pm @Jasp: Well, sometimes one needs to rest! Thanks for the visit! @Graham Russon: Thanks Graham! MJ from Delaware, United Statesabsolutely beautiful.... Thank you for sharing the series... 24 Feb 2008 9:37pm Sandrine from Cincinnati, United StatesAwesome! i love what you did in showing us the progression! I can't help but notice that from your side of the world, the shadow is opposite ours... I posted my 2 photos today and yesterday... Excellent picture! 24 Feb 2008 9:53pm @Sandrine: Thanks Sandrine! Regarding the shadow... I swear if we were not into photography, we wouldn't even notice that! standley from Brou-sur-Chantereine, FranceGreat idea Ina. Very well captured and presented! 24 Feb 2008 10:10pm @standley: Thanks Richard Steven from Chicagoland, United StatesBeautiful series of captures, Ina! I'm glad I wasn't up that early to catch it. But it was still bone-chilling outside at 9:00 PM. 24 Feb 2008 11:15pm @Steven: Thanks Steven! Michael Rawluk from Prince George, CanadaYou win. That is the best eclipse shot. 25 Feb 2008 1:25am @Michael Rawluk: :)) Didn't know there was a competition! Thanks Michael, you are very kind ;) @Stunner: Thanks Stunner drphoto from Newcastle upon Tyne, United KingdomExcellent image Ina, I'm very impressed.
