Total lunar eclipse, 21 February 2008, as seen from South Africa.
It was awesome to sit outside and watch this happen. The first shot was taken @ 3.54am and the last one 4.54am.

That is an awesome moon, a fiery red ball, almost like the sun.

I agree with Toranj, I like the single star. I ran out in the cold and tried taking a few, but none of them turned out. I guess I can try again in 2010 or something like that. Nice shot.

@Bonj: The star in the other shots look much nicer - i used a slow shutterspeed here, so it is not so clear. Yes! We will all try again in 2010... hope we all made a lot of mony by then to buy the best cameras and lenses to do the job :))
