1 It's important to have roots. 2 In today's complex world, it pays to branch out. 3 If you really believe in something, don't be afraid to go out on a limb. 4 Be flexible so you don't break when a harsh wind blows. 5 Sometimes you have to shed your old bark in order to grow. 6 If you want to maintain accurate records, keep a log. 7 It's okay to be a late bloomer. 8 Avoid people who would like to cut you down. 9 As you approach the autumn of your life, you will show your true colors. 10 You could be Brilliant! in other words "bloom where you are planted."
Your visit and comment means a lot, thanks for stopping by :)
How I love this, the photo is exquisite and the text, well...I love it, I love trees, so much, I'd add one more: You can lean on me for comfort, day or night :)

@Lorraine: Nice addition Lorraine! Thanks for sharing :)
A wonderful photo, Ina. I love the scintillating turquoise water. The rules are worth while remembering. In fact I copied no. 2, 4, 5, 7, 8 and 9 for my personal use. You might find them sometime this year on my blog, too.

@givethemhell: Looking forward to see how you use them.... the words alone spark some creativity in me as well :))
Love the text that accompanies this beautiful photograph. trees have a magic all of there own.

As Eva suggests, above, those sayings do make one want to dash out and match them each to an image! But I love your shot and the sense of tranquillity that it conveys.

@Ronnie 2¢: Not a bad idea!
Nice lessons =D) are you a wordsmith as well as an image maker or is the text quoted from some other source?

@drphoto: Hi Dan! No, I did not write the words, I had them for ages on a little piece of paper (now yellow and torn) and thought that it's a good idea to share them with you! Should actually put "author unknown" at the bottom :)
Superb shot! Must have been a magnificent day for all the different colours to show.
