This was taken during a "Wash line" day where people were asked to donate warm clothes and blankets for Hospice.

Your visit and comment means a lot, thanks for stopping by :)
The expression on the faces of the group of people in the background is great! And all that laundry along the side of the street, amazing. There is a lot to see in this picture, but because of the color toning it's not at all noisy.

why are those men being stared at?

@Rags: They were looking at his big hat, nothing personal :) Not something we see everyday.
cool, is HOSPICE an NGO?

Well, wow, I don't know what to make of this, it's a great composition, incredibly clear and the story it tells, wow I don't know what to make of the stares...

This is a very powerful shot ! Two different groups of people separated by some glances although I can see a shy smile on one of the faces ...

Was this a parade or a skit of some sort? The cause is so worthwhile - but I don't understand the facial expressions of those on the grass.

That's a funny event! I sure these people think about that man's haircut and if they should give it a try... :-)

This is intriguing. I cannot tell if they are staring at you or the men in the frame.
Interesting event.

Worthy cause -- like the sepia tone works well

Wow, what a brilliant shot, Ina, I like the photo journalistic feel to this. Nice one.

I like the PP treatment that you gave this photo. The caption goes well with what has been highlighted, which at the same time, is unsettling.

Something certainly caught their attention. I'm hoping that if they were kind enough to give clothes that they weren't judging the outfit of the gentleman in the foreground!! Perhaps it was something out of our view. Wonderful treatment to this photo.

strong capture congrats

The processing gives this a really old feel, I think the people are looking at the camera..?

wow, very interesting street shot. the facial expressions and how there seem to be two groups separated by race is very intriguing.

nice rasta hat! one of my high school teachers had to wear a hat like that because he wasn't allowed to display his dreadlocks in front of the students... set a "bad example" to the strictly-uniformed short-back-and-sides students, you know :)
